Excursion to Marble Mountain and Linh Ung Pagoda (Lady Buddha) including local food and English-speaking guide.

We will pick you up at your hotel, train station or airport at the indicated time and head towards the famous Marble Mountains.

Once in the Marble Mountains, located on the outskirts of the city of Da Nang, we will get out of the vehicle and begin to walk the trails that ascend these Vietnamese hills. As we go, we will tell you why this incredible place is named.

Did you know that this complex is made up of five limestone mountains? It is very curious, since they are named according to the elements of Eastern philosophical thought that evoke nature: Kim, in reference to the metal mountain; Thuy, the water mountain; Moc, the wood mountain; Hoa, the fire mountain; and Tho, the earth mountain.

In this case, we will visit the water mountain, where the most famous caves in the area are located: Tang Chon, Huyen Khong. We will notice how sunlight penetrates through the gaps in the walls of the caves. This gives them an almost mystical lighting!

Next, we will stop at Am Phu, known as the cave of hell, from where we will get some impressive views. After touring the Marble Mountains, we will visit a marble factory, where we will see how the statues were spit from small to large. Then we will head to Monkey Mountain to visit the Linh Ung Pagoda, built during the 18th century and which houses a 67-meter white statue of the Goddess of Mercy. It is the tallest Buddhist sculpture in Vietnam!

During the return route, we can make stops to photograph the fishing villages in the area. Finally, we will stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a lunch of typical Vietnamese dishes.

After a total of four to five hours of tour, we will drop you off at your hotel in Hoi An and end the tour.
