Ninh Binh Tour from Hanoi with Amigos Tours

Ninh Binh is known as the Halong of the mainland due to its resemblance to the famous Halong Bay. On this tour, we'll visit the temples of Vietnam's Dinh and Le dynasties and explore the incredible landscapes of this area.

At the designated time, we will pick you up from hotels in Hanoi’s city center and head to Ninh Binh, a province located about two hours from Hanoi.

Once in Ninh Binh, we will visit Hoa Lu, the ancient imperial capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, and explore the temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasties. Here, you will learn about the history of this ancient capital, also known as the "Ha Long Bay on land."

Our next stop will be Mua Cave, also called the "Dancing Cave." We will climb nearly 500 steps to the top of Mua Cave, where we will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Tam Coc. This viewpoint will also help us understand why this location was chosen as the imperial capital.

Afterward, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where we will try traditional dishes from the region, mainly goat-based specialties.

Following lunch, we will hop on our bikes (or take the car if cycling isn’t your thing) and continue toward Bich Dong Pagoda. This site features three pagodas built within the caves of Tam Coc’s mountains. If you visit just one pagoda in Vietnam, this should be the one.

After visiting Bich Dong, we will board a small boat and navigate the crystal-clear waters of the Van Long Nature Reserve. This area is home to the last remaining Delacour’s langurs, a critically endangered primate species that can sometimes be spotted in small groups.

Finally, we will return to Hanoi. End of our services!
